Preservation Management Plan

Thanks to generous donors and grant organizations, ARBPA has attained the $20K in Matching Funds we needed to help us reach our ARB Management Plan goal!

Allegheny River Boulevard Preservation Association was awarded a $20K Keystone Planning Grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission to develop a Preservation Management Plan for ARB. The grant required a 1-to-1 cash match, which means we also needed to raise matching funds of $20,000.

With the generous support from many individual donors and with very significant grant support from Rivers of Steel, the Jack Buncher Foundation, and Jendoco Construction, ARBPA now has the needed funds to proceed with our project!

This plan will provide us with information on the current status of the various structural and natural features of the scenic roadway, identify significant issues, and prioritize our future work. The Preservation Management Plan Project kicked off this Spring and will conclude in September, 2024.
